Instructor Hiring Policy

Instructors will be hired under an independent contractor basis and will not become employees of the International Society of Business Appraisers.  Each class will be treated as a separate event and a new instructor agreement will be signed for each class.  The instructor agreement will specify the rate of compensation and reimbursement of expense policy. 

Each instructor hired to teach the Going Concern course must provide evidence of direct industry knowledge and experience in real estate appraisal, business valuation and machinery/equipment valuation.  The instructor must provide references for past instruction events where the instructor has served in the role as the lead instructor in a live classroom setting.


Records Maintenance and Retention Policy

All student course applications, course tuition payment records, attendance records and all other pertinent records will be kept in the offices of the International Society of Business Appraisers which is located at 1333 W. McDermott Drive, Allen, TX  75013.  Any student wishing to review such information must a request in writing to the same address to the attention of the Executive Director.

Records will maintained in a secured environment for a period of five years following the date of the class.


Subcontracting Policy

Instructors will be subcontractors of the International Society of Business Appraisers and will become employees of the organization.
